Now-Again's definitive compilation of the funkiest '60s and '70s cuts from Houston's Kashmere High School Stage Band, arranged and conducted by legendary band instructor Conrad O. Johnson, came out in 2006 alongside a series of Kashmere Stage Band remixes. The first two came from house music heroes Kenny Dope and Todd Terry and saw release on two limited 7-inches and a 12-inch single.

Three-time Grammy nominated Kenny Dope has been astounding music fans for 2 decades with his fusion of house, hip-hop, Latin, jazz, soul, and broken beats. Known as a living encyclopedia of beats, Kenny Dope is a purveyor of sonic masterpieces - case in point, this breakbeat laden remix of Houston's finest in raw funk.

Todd Terry boasts over 20 years in the groove business. Back in the '80s, he made a name for himself with his inventive approach to a rhythm - one that pushed the current house groove into big, bold new territory with his use of stark beats, sound fragments, and choppy production. But he'd be the first to tell you his style isn't confined to one genre, as his DJ gigs testify - not to mention this incredible new remix of raw Houston funk for Now-Again.
