This release focuses on the Carnival's "Blind Man," band-leader Lester Abrams penned ode to lost love. The track, which stands as one of the great moments in Black psychedelic rock (and was compiled on collector Dante Carfagna's awesome "Chains And Black Exhaust" mix), is presented here in three distinct versions. First there is the extended original version of the song, mixed down from the original master tapes. Second is the instrumental of the track, mixed down from the original multi track recordings. And lastly, Cut Chemist offers up his remix, which combines elements of both in a cut and paste pastiche.
