A while back, we told you that Egon was photographed amidst his record collection for photographer Eilon Paz’s Dust and Grooves project. Well, now Paz has published an extensive interview and a streamable mix highlighting selections from Egon’s collections. Check it out at the Dust and Grooves site now.

    You know, two of the most ill represented countries that are crawling with bands from the 60’s & 70’s are Saigon & Hong Kong.

    Have you ever considered doing any reissue projects featuring those countries?

    Oops, not Saigon, I meant Singapore, and perhaps even Malaysia. I just thought I would throw this out there since these places are rarely mentioned, especially Vietnam, Cambodia & Thailand.

    UGH – Straydogs is one of my fave 7s, and the Quest’s version of “Hava Nagila” is simply mindmelting. And that says nothing about Rita Chao. Who knows what the future will bring.
