Founded by Eothen “Egon” Alapatt in 2002, Now-Again Records is a reissue label, catalog management and music publishing company that represents all of the releases in our catalog page and thousands of other masters and compositions for all licensing purposes, on a mostly “one-stop” basis, with direct ties to the artists or their heirs.
Now-Again also represents like-minded friends and partners with catalogs containing a wealth of music that compliments the catalog we are known for. This roster includes Mr. Bongo, PPU, Lion Productions, Subliminal Sounds, the Sun Ra and Raymond Scott Estates, Peru’s MAG, Hawaii’s Aloha Got Soul, 20th century Latin powerhouse Ansonia Records, Italian production library Sermi, and dozens of other catalogs. We are all record collectors, and we focus on music that we enjoy listening to; so, while you might not hear a reissue of ’50s American blues or ’60s country, or ’80s Japanese synth-pop on Now-Again, you can rest assured that we represent some of the best of those genres, and dozens of others.

Now-Again’s roster of producers and related artists have intimate knowledge of the catalog and are often crafting modern beats out of vintage gems; including Oh No and Maker, the latter of whom created the Abbot Elementary theme song.
Our catalog is unique in that we have researched and proven clear title on both master and publishing sides for each of the artists contained in our vast catalog, and we have “pre-cleared” our catalog for sampling at fair splits to the sampling producer on both master and publishing sides.
